Preserved Testimony

Sgt. Dykes' Preserved Letters

Forty-two surviving postal envelopes and handwritten dispatches trace four years of captivity along the railway line, written in pencil on pulped stationery during evening respites.

Every document is reproduced in faithful facsimile, paired with official construction logs and postwar eyewitness accounts from the 1942 Fall of Singapore to liberation.
